Hi, I’m Amber — photographer, creative goblin, and your future boudoir hype woman.
I run a boudoir studio in Virginia Beach where the entire goal is helping women see themselves the way the rest of the world already does: powerful, captivating, and very much not meant to play small.
Most women walk into my studio a little nervous and saying things like “I’m awkward in photos.” My favorite part of the job is watching the moment that narrative completely falls apart.
Outside the studio I’m a lover of strange beautiful things — moths, vintage oddities, dark florals, and anything that feels like it belongs in a slightly haunted Victorian cabinet. My Hubby and I are best friends and he is my absolute rock and my teenager is always giving me a run for my money. Mom life, right?
Around here we’re not chasing perfection.

My Journey
I didn’t arrive at this work through a straight line.
For years, I was more practiced at surviving than inhabiting my body. Photography became a way back — first as art, then as something far more personal. Over time, I realized how powerful it is to see yourself reflected truthfully, without performance or apology.
As my work evolved, my focus shifted away from “pretty” and toward presence. I studied light, composition, and technique — but just as importantly, I learned how to slow things down, read energy, and work with the body instead of pushing past it.
Boudoir, for me, became about reclamation.
Each woman brings her own history, power, hesitation, and desire into the space. My journey taught me that honoring all of it matters — that the most potent images often come from stillness, not force.
I’m here because I listened.
And because this work continues to ask something honest of me, every time.

The luxury here isn’t just in the sets, styling, or attention to detail — it’s in how held you feel. You are guided, seen, and treated with reverence, not expectation. This experience is about shedding performance, letting your edges exist, and allowing yourself to be witnessed without apology.
